It is woven from solution-dyed acrylic, the marine-grade fabric family trusted for boat and patio upholstery, with the color running all the way through each fiber so it stays rich and true rather than washing out in the sun. Charcoal is forgiving of pollen and dust in a way pale neutrals are not, and it is an easy match for teak, powder-coated aluminum, or wicker. The fabric is genuinely waterproof and fade-proof, with a soft hand that is comfortable to sit on, not the plasticky feel of cheaper coated fabrics, and each cover zips closed for a clean, secure fit.
